Join The Bluetits Summer Dipathon challenge, in collaboration with Centrepoint, running throughout July and August.
Centrepoint is the UK's leading youth homelessness charity. Alongside their partners, they support over 15,000 young people every year and campaign to end youth homelessness by 2037.
Last year, almost 124,000 young people aged 16-25 were homeless or at risk of homelessness in the UK. We also know that 1 young person faces homelessness every 4 minutes.
The Challenge
We’re challenging our community to come together and reach a collective target of 124,000 dips, representing the number of young people facing homelessness in the UK. Start with a minimum pledge of 4 dips each over the two-month event period to reflect that every 4 minutes, a young person is at risk of homelessness. The more you can pledge, the further we'll be towards our ambitious goal.
The entry cost includes your bespoke embroidered swimming patch alongside a split donation to both Centrepoint (50%) and the Bluetits (50%).
We are also encouraging Bluetits to set up a fundraising page to raise money for both causes, with a suggested target of £100. You can do this here, and you'll be sent this link too. We also have a special incentive for the first 100 people to raise £100!
If you would prefer, you can make an additional one-off donation below on top of your entry fee.
You can complete your dips either part of a Bluetits group or independently, following the Bluetits safety resources and disclaimer policy.
