Lush but too short

Was so excited to receive this as a Christmas present but the body is at least 2inches too short. I am just shy of 5ft 9 and size 16, but sized up to an 18 which is right width but it sits like a life vest rather than a gilet. I asked my 5ft 3 size 10 wife to try and it was only just long enough for her. The colours and finish are great but gutted as I won’t use it.
